Have you ever watched a movie and felt like it was made for you?

This is how most people feel after watching the Hollywood movie Good Will Hunting. Released in 1997, the film starred Robin Williams, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. Its story was also co-written by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon who were not known names in the film world at that time.

The film was nominated for Oscars in 9 categories and won 2 awards. Robin Williams won the supporting actor award while Ben Affleck and Matt Damon shared the screenplay award for the film.
This is the story of Will Hunting, a mathematician who solves the most difficult math problems but works as a cleaner at MIT.

But then he is sent to jail for killing a policeman, but the professor, impressed by his abilities, releases him on parole and takes him to psychologists, but he does not come under their control.

The professor then takes her to a friend, psychiatrist Dr. Sean Maguire (Robin Williams). Like Will Hunting, Dr. Sen was raised in difficult circumstances, and the professor believes that helping the young man will help Dr. Sen move forward in life himself. In this way, Dr. Sen sets the young man on the right path and teaches him that the walls of pain he has built around him cannot protect him.

But it all depends on how it happens. The film inspires people to take on the challenges of life with the support of others, enabling them to do things they never thought possible. Some of the behind-the-scenes facts of this film are also quite interesting. As mentioned above, the film was written by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon and they drew on their own experiences.

According to Ben Affleck, he faced difficulties in college and this story is about people who come to college with a sense of difficulties. Initially, the story of this film was completely different and Will Hunting's character was different, but then it was rewritten. The bench where Robin Williams and Matt Damon's characters were shown sitting in the film became special for fans after the death of Robin Williams. The character of Robin Williams in the film was based on the characteristics of Matt Damon's mother and Ben Affleck's father.

The studio that produced the film wanted Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt to play the lead roles, but they ended up with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
