Big increase in prices of petroleum products



The caretaker government has increased the prices of petroleum products, for which a notification has also been issued.

According to ARY News, the caretaker government has increased the price of petrol by 17 rupees 50 paise per litre, after which the new price of petrol has become 290 rupees 45 paise per litre.

The price of high speed diesel has also been increased by 20 rupees per liter after which the new price of diesel has become 293 rupees 40 paise per liter.

The increase in the prices of petrol and diesel has been implemented from 12 pm today.

It should be noted that the government changes the prices of petroleum products every fortnight.

On the other hand, economist Muzamil Aslam says that the value of the rupee is continuously depreciating, dues and adjustments are being met in the recent increase, this is a continuation of the old prices that were under the PDM coalition government.

Muzamil Aslam said that electricity, gas, oil are basic things whose cost affects every sector, the government has failed to control inflation and has not made any strategy.
