Afghanistan's Najeebullah Zadran has been ruled out of the ODI series against Pakistan



Afghanistan cricket team's middle order batsman Najeebullah Zadran has been ruled out of the ODI series against Pakistan.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board said on micro-blogging website X (formerly Twitter) that Najeeb Zadran has suffered a knee injury.

According to the Afghan board, Shahidullah Kamal has been included in the squad instead of Najeeb.

The first ODI match between the teams of Pakistan and Afghanistan will be played today.

The match will start today at 2:30 pm Pakistan time, the second match between the two teams will be played on August 24 at the same venue while the third and final match will be played on August 26 in Colombo.

A 0-3 victory in the ODI series against Afghanistan will make Pakistan the number one ODI team again.
